Happy sunny Thursday everyone!

It’s finally not gloomy here in Fort Wayne today! #miracle

So, today I wanted to talk about how wonderful the weather in Fort Wayne Indiana truly is.

We have Fall, sure. We get snow during Christmas and whatever. But for the most part, the majority of the in-between weather is just overcast and grey…what is that about??

And similar to other places in the midwest, it’ll be 60 degrees on Monday, but then snow on Thursday…what is that about?? Snow on Valentine’s Day and then snow on Easter — ridiculous.

Anyway, I try to make the best of any situation. So, I recruited Holly to help out with this “Snow Queen” video. We shot this back in February, and I’m putting it together with the rest of our cozy shots this winter.

For this video, we got the drone out — the DJI Phantom 4. Holly had the fun idea of spinning around and throwing snow up into the air. We also got some “edgier” shots as well. ????

For the most part, I try to do my handheld video work on my 100mm Macro lens since it has image stabilization. Once your slow things down in post, you get a cinematic look that I really enjoy.

I hope you enjoyed the video! We certainly enjoyed making the best out of our seemingly never-ending winter! ????
