IPFW Photo-Walk

Hey guys and gals!

So @hollylentine and I headed over to IPFW (Indiana / Purdue University Fort Wayne) for a late-night photoshoot. It was around sunset to take advantage of that easy gold hour lighting. IPFW is near a small airport, so NO DRONE SHOTS this time! ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s a highlight video of our photo adventure!

I had my iPhone 7+ and my Canon 5D Mark iii. I use a technique for “hand-holding” my DSLR camera by resting it on the side of my left bicep. I bring my left hand to my right shoulder and point my lens in the same direction as my left elbow. Resting my camera on my arm like this allows me to steady my shots very well without the use of a tripod. When you’re steadying your camera with any hand-holding technique, it always helps to calm yourself by taking a long, slow deep breath before you *snap*!

I’ve added the best shots from our shoot down below. They’re available to purchase as high-resolution digital prints. You’ll be emailed a link to download digital file โ€” without watermarks โ€” to print where ever you’d like!

I’m adding my “Starry Bridge” in this post available for purchase as well. I shot this on my 5D Mark iii, so it’s full resolution and ready to print. I have a professional print lab I use for all my prints, so if you’re the type of person that just wants a canvas print shipped directly to you, just send me a message and we’ll work something out!
